先日もPodiumでご紹介したEnhanced Podcast（紹介記事）。挑戦してみようとお考えの方は是非一度Kyoto Podcastをお試し下さい。
Kyoto Podcastは英語による京都案内。制作者Tim Burgess氏が「Enhanced Podcastのみを配信し、画像を解説の補助として効果的に使う」と第二話（m4a)で発言しているだけあって、参考になる技がいくつもあります。
例えば、鳥居、お札、お稲荷などを見たことがない人のために、画像を表示し音声で丁寧に解説。あるいは地図を表示しながら伏見稲荷の全貌を解説。一方で祭事は人物を表示できないので音だけで紹介する、など、音＋画像の長所と音だけの長所を番組内で柔軟に使い分けています。
番組は、日本の変わった食べ物紹介、日本に住む外国人のQ&A、京都の音などのシリーズから構成されており、内容の変わり目で題名を表示しています。まさに紙芝居風ですね。
